PAPERS THAT HAVE THAT PHOTO LOOK

Crane Museo Silver Rag
- glossy heavyweight with some texture, excellent for sepia or brown toned prints
Epson Exhibition Fiber glossy - glossy heavyweight paper with a bit less texture
Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk a very smooth baryta coated paper that looks and feels similar to Ilford's traditional air dried glossy darkroom papers.
Harman Glossy FB Al - The newest paper with an air dried glossy look and heavy feel that is hard to tell from the darkroom equivalent. We stock this paper in a neutral and warmtone versions.

Archival inkjet prints made from negatives, slides or files and output to either Epson Exhibition Fiber glossy, Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk, Crane Museo Silver Rag or Harmon Glassy FB Al warm or neutral paper. We recommend the Silver Rag and Harmon warmtone for prints to be sepia toned. The Epson Exhibition Fiber and Ilford Galerie Gold are colder toned and work best for a selenium type tone. All four work well with color.

Clockwise from top left: "Blackwater Reflections - Ona Beach, Or.", "Yosemite Reflections", "Moolach Beach, Or." and "Redwoods - Jedediah Smith Area",

Redwoods photo by Tim Stroud. Other photos by Walt O'Brien.

All four papers has a life expectancy equal to or better than a Black and White photograhpic print from the darkroom. When printed in color they have a life expectancy many times that of a traditional photographic color print.

PAPERS FOR PAINTING AND DRAWING REPRODUCTIONS
Arches Textured, Hahnemule German Etching and DAS Geo Canvas

Watercolor by Sally Lemon
of Battleground, Wa.

Printed on Arches Textured

Guache painting by Sandi O'Brien
Eugene, Oregon

Printed on Hahnemuhle German Etch

Arches Textured is ideal for printing original watercolors or any art that is created on a similar surface. The life expectancy of a print on this material is similar to the original.

Hahnemule German Etch is another fine art paper with a finer tooth. It has excellent color saturation for duplicating rich originals.

DAS Geo Canvas

Original Oil by Anne McGlade of Eugene, Or.

Printed on DAS Geo Canvas

GEO Canvas is an actual canvas designed for inkjet printing. It can be stretched on a frame like any canvas. It works well with any image but is especially good for oil originals. It has a glossy surface.

Other papers include Epson Premium Glossy and Epson Premium Lustre. These papers are less expensive but have the full range of colors available in more expensive papers. Life expectancy is shorter than any of the premium papers, but is still better than traditional color photographs.
